O kurzu

Menu proposal for a vegan cooking course:

Chicory, pear and pecan salad with vegan mayonnaise dressing
Creamy Mushroom Pasta (made with Silken Tofu)
Baked apples with crumble, coconut yogurt and cocoa beans

Crunchy spiced chickpeas as a snack

Class Prerequisite:

In this class, we’ll discover how to use ingredients like tofu while learning how to create vegan versions of favorite dishes. We will make our own vegan mayonnaise from aquafaba (from a jar of chickpeas): it costs only a few crowns and tastes great. We will make a nutritious and tasty spicy snack from chickpeas.

The course takes place with a minimum number of five participants, in our studio CHEF ARENA, in Sulice, Sportovní 1190

You will have prepared ingredients, recipes and a place for your notes. During the course, we will lend you our apron and all the necessary equipment. The price includes soft drinks, water, coffee, tea and bottled wine.

Emma Duke

Emma is a keen cook and has spent the last ten years living overseas in Turkey, Korea and most recently the Czech Republic. She now brings the flavours and cooking styles of these different countries to play in her recipes. Whilst in Korea Emma ran a successful cooking school and taught international cuisine to English speakers in Seoul. As part of this business Emma also made traditional British foods such as hot cross buns, mince pies and country jams and regularly sold these at local farmers markets and food fairs. Since moving to Prague her passion for food has continued to grow alongside her interest in nutrition; in 2022 she gained the Nutrition in Culinary Practice NTEC award at the prestigious Leith’s Cooking School in London. Emma now works as a Nutrition Coach in Prague and runs highly popular healthy nutrition cooking classes. She is excited to join the team at Chef Arena and bring her delicious, healthy recipes to a wider audience.
